The ASEC High Security Escutcheon is BSI 2* Kitemarked and Secured by Design approved. Manufactured from 316 grade stainless steel, it comes with a lifetime coating guarantee and has been salt spray tested to ASTM B117 for 2,000 hours. It prevents exposure of the cylinder, providing an extra level of security to your cylinder lock against attacks such as cylinder snapping, and also features a bevelled edge which makes it extremely difficult to grip with pliers in an attempt to remove the escutcheon.
